1. Can You Attempt Extra Questions?
- Yes, but with caution.
- If unsure about a question, you can attempt an extra one.
- Clearly label the extra question as “Extra” and write it in the correct order.
- Example: If you skip Question 19, write “Extra” and attempt Question 20.
- Avoid overwriting: Only attempt extra questions if necessary to save time.
- Also leave some space, if You think that You might need to answer an extra question later.
- If You are attempting the extra question at the end of the paper, make sure You are mentioning the Section from which the questions belongs to.
2. Can You Start with 5-Marker Questions?
- No. You must start with Part A (MCQs and fill-in-the-blanks) compulsorily.
- Complete Part A first, then move to other sections like Part D (5-markers).
- Recommended paper flow: Part A → Part B → Part C → Part D.
3. Rules for Part A (MCQs and Fill-in-the-Blanks)
- No striking or overwriting: If you strike an answer and then if you Reattempt the correct answer then even if it’s correct, it will be considered invalid.
- Solution: If unsure, write the answer in pencil first, then erase and rewrite in pen once confirmed.
- Write the full option: For MCQs, write the complete answer (e.g., “A. Hemophilia”) instead of just “A” or “B.”
- Fill-in-the-blanks: Only write the missing word, not the entire statement.
4. Rough Work and Answer Booklet
- No separate rough sheets: Use the last page of your answer booklet for rough work.
- You can put margins for calculations, but using the last page is preferable.
- Request a new booklet only when the current one is almost full.
5. Scientific Calculators and Writing Pads
- Scientific calculators are not allowed: Only simple digital calculators are permitted for math, physics, and chemistry.
- Writing pads are prohibited: Even transparent pads are not allowed.
6. Pen Rules and Whitener Usage
- Pen switching: If you switch pens (e.g., blue to black), inform the invigilator and get their signature.

- 10:00 AM: Exam starts.

- 10:15 AM: Begin writing answers.
- 10:30 AM: No entry allowed after this time.
- 12:30 PM: Bell rings, indicating 30 minutes left.
