JEE Advanced 2017 results were declared on 11th June 2017. The entrance exam is used as the sole admission test by the 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

Admission to the following programs are obtained by clearing JEE Advanced:

•    4-year Bachelors: B.Tech., B.S., B.Pharm.
•    5-year Bachelors: B.Arch.
•    5-year Dual Degree: B.Tech.-M.Tech., B.S.-M.S.
•    5-year Integrated Masters: M.Tech., M.Sc., M.Pharm Dual  Degree.

Nearly 1,72,024 students registered for JEE Advanced 2017 out of which 1,59,540 appeared for the exam and about 50,455 qualified. Overall, 9893 students qualified from the IIT Bombay zone, 9207 from IIT Delhi zone, about 3118 from IIT Guwahati, 5050 qualifiers from IIT Roorkee zone, 6809 from IIT Kanpur, and 10,240 from IIT Madras.
Many students in Bengaluru were delighted after clearing the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2017. The exam which is a gateway to IITs and other top engineering colleges was conducted on May 21.

This year among the 440 students who appeared for JEE Advanced from Deeksha, 70 cleared it. 4 of our students have achieved ranks in the Top 1000. 50 students from Deeksha Main Campus, Bengaluru @ Deeksha Center for Learning PU College qualified for the exam.

Parth S Shah secured an All India Rank of 550 followed by Sahil Agarwal from Ace Academy with AIR 666. Shivahari R secured a category rank of 716 and Poojitha Maheshappa obtained the 764th rank.

Sridhar G., Founder of Deeksha was proud of the achievers and considers it as an “incredible” achievement. He said, “generally students from other states like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana have been giving such top performance, but such a stellar performance from a PU college in Karnataka proves that students from this state also have started aiming IIT.”
