The long wait of ”Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana” (KVPY) aspirants was over with the declaration of KVPY 2016 results on 31st March by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. Throughout India 877 students were selected from stream-SA (students studying Science in Class 11) and as far as Stream SX (students studying Science stream in class 12) is concerned, 1523 students were selected.

It is a program started by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India in 1999 to encourage students studying Basic Sciences to take up research as a career. The objective of the program is to recognize and encourage talented and motivated students to pursue a career in research.

Just like in other competitive exams, students of Deeksha again made us proud with their phenomenal performance in KVPY. 33 students from Deeksha cleared the 1st round and 30 out of them went on to clear the 2nd round and bagged the prestigious fellowship by IISc.

The achievers believe that the training offered by our expert faculty is the driving force behind their excellent performance. After clearing the 1st round they were very confident of doing well in the 2nd round which is a personal interview round.

If you too are interested in achieving this prestigious fellowship, then you should start preparing for it right after class 10. Before that, you should know the competitive exams to prepare for after completing 10th Std. so that you can clear the aptitude test and the interview with ease.

Deeksha wishes all the qualifiers a successful future!
