The results of the IIT-JEE (Advanced) exam held on May 24, 2015, were declared on Wednesday evening. Nearly 1, 50,000 students got qualified in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) this year. Though, about 25,000 students who got shortlisted for the JEE Advanced, 2015 did not register for the IIT admission examination.

Around 96,895 boys appeared for this exam among which 23,407 qualified. As far as girls are concerned, around 20,342 appeared for the exam among which 3,049 were qualified. This year, for general candidates, the cut-off was 105, much lower compared to the previous year’s 115. For Scheduled Castes, it was 50 and for Scheduled Tribes, it was 44.

Just like in other competitive exams, students of Deeksha again showed how talented they are with their outstanding performance in JEE Advanced, 2015 results.

Devansh Sharma, a Deekshaite is the 2nd highest rank holder in Karnataka with All India Rank 248.

Ganesh Varnekar from Hubli with All India Rank 534 is the Topper of Hubli district.

When asked about the secret behind their success, this is what the proud Deekshaites said,

Devansh Sharma, who wants to pursue computer science in the future said, “it is all about focusing on what you aspire to become. He added saying, “The dream should not end once you acquire a seat in college, ambitions are very important”. Ganesh Varnekar, who aspires to pursue electronics in IIT Mumbai, said he worked very hard for achieving this result. He prepared throughout his Pre-University and feels overjoyed with his results. He is also thankful to the supportive teachers of Deeksha who were always available to clear his doubts. He is grateful to Deeksha, his family, and friends for their immense support and guidance.
