The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) declared the 2nd PUC results on April 30. Deeksha’s students have performed stupendously well. Our topper, SupreethaM A from Deeksha, Thyagaraja Nagar, Bengaluru @SGPTA PU College secured the 4th rank, scoring 593 out of 600. 9 of our students grabbed scores in the top 10.
Speaking on the occasion, Supreetha said, “I am extremely delighted with the result. The study materials and the mock tests provided at Deeksha were of great help. All my teachers, especially my Dean helped me a lot. I would like to thank all of them and my friends for helping me achieve this tremendous feat.”
The pass percentage in the Science stream stood at 93.30% while it is 86.30% in the Commerce stream. 1148 students from Science & 136 from Commerce secured distinction. A total of 394 centum were scored by our students.
Praapti Prasad from Deeksha, Kanakapura Road, Bengaluru @ Jnana Sweekar PU College achieved an outstanding feat. She scored centum in 5 subjects, scoring 590 out of 600. Quite thrilled by the result, she said, “My results came as a sweet surprise though I was expecting above 95%. I never thought I would get 5 centum. Special thanks to all my teachers at Deeksha. The training materials that were available through eDUCATOR&dPAL were of immense help.”
Overwhelmed by the performances of the students, Dr. Sridhar G, the founder of Deeksha said, “It is definitely a moment of pride to see my students come out with flying colours. This stands testimony to the hard work and ardent efforts made by the students throughout the year. This year’s results are also special as we celebrate 20 years of togetherness. This makes our belief stronger that the values imbibed into the students over the years have worked marvelously. We are hopeful we will continue to nurture more lives and more dreams in the years to come.”
A total of 6.90 lakh students had appeared for the examination that was conducted between 1 to 17 March. The overall pass percentage stood at 59.56.
