Deeksha’s brilliant young minds have put us in the spotlight once more. Eight of our children have made it to the prestigious Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) in Pune. Sathvik A, Shruti Sridhar, Monica U, Megha Dinesh Bhat, Aditya Milind Kolhatkar, Sahana N, Syamanthak S and Neilalohith S are the ones who will be making their mark in IISER soon. All eight of them have been admitted through either the SCB (State Central Board) channel or the KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) channel.

We congratulate these children for this great achievement and for making Deeksha proud. We wish them all the success in their new endeavour and hope that they will one day be a shining presence in the world of science.

Popularly known as the IITs of basic sciences, IISERs have been declared as Institutes of National importance. For students who have passed the secondary level examination, IISERs offer the BS-MS degree programme. Funded by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, each IISER is an autonomous institution.

The total number of seats available in all IISERs is 1285. IISER Bhopal has a maximum number of 250 seats. Trivandrum, Pune and Kolkata have 200 seats each while Tirupati and Berhampur have 150 and 100 seats respectively.

We are proud to say that our children are making their presence across India in various fields. Our mission and vision help us in providing the right education, thereby guiding each and every child on the right path. Join Deeksha to go beyond limits and achieve greatness.
