This is among the 2 lakh Engineering aspirants who wrote the VITEEE (Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam) this year conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT).
The entrance exam was held in 119 cities and 167 centres across India and abroad, including Dubai, Kuwait and Muscat. This computer-based test (CBT) was held between April 5, 2017, and April 16, 2017. The test consists of 40 questions each in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics/ Biology and 5 in English. Each correct answer carries 1 mark. There is no negative marking.
VITEEE is conducted to offer admissions to qualifiers in the B.Tech. programmes at VIT’s Vellore and Chennai campuses.
