Deekshaites Again Excel with 1055 Distinctions In II PU Exam

Students waiting for the Karnataka PUC Results got relief on 18^th May with the declaration of II PUC exam results.

Over 6.1 lakh students appeared in Science, Commerce and Arts streams this year.

Around 3.1 lakh were boys and 4.96 lakh students were girls. About 82,067 students were repeaters.

The pass percentage in the state was recorded as 60.54.

Girls have again surpassed boys.

The passing percentage of girls is 68.24 whereas the passing percentage of boys is 53.09.

As far as district-wise performance is concerned, Dakshina Kannada district grabbed the highest pass percentage.

• Students of Deeksha were not left behind in the race and made it to the list of top scorers.

Compared to last year, the number of Deekshaites in Science and Commerce stream who managed to get distinctions and first class was more this year.

194 students grabbed distinction in DCFL campus.

• Coming to the Commerce Stream, Deeksha Students excelled with an overall pass percentage of 90%

The overall pass percentage in Mother Teresa PU College, Mysore and Vidyodaya PU College, Tumkur was 100%.

30 Students from Gouthama Siddhartha PU College, Rajajinagar achieved distinction.

• II PU Toppers (Science Stream)

Sangeetha V S, a student from DCFL scored 590 and is the 6^th Karnataka State Rank holder.

Another student, Balaji Vignesh K from DCFL scored 588 and holds 7^th position in Karnataka State Rank.

Deekshaites from campuses outside Bangalore also made us proud. Eshwari R from SDC PU College, Kolar scored 588 and Holla P Sanath Srinivasa from Mother Teresa PU College, Mysore scored 584.

• II PU Toppers (Commerce Stream)

Malvika S Nair from Surana PU College is the topper in the Commerce stream with 590 marks. She is the 4^th Karnataka State Rank holder too.

Monisha M from SGPTA with 579 marks is the second commerce topper.

Three students from SDC PU College named Priyal M, Preethi MC, Hamsapriya NC also made to the list of commerce toppers.

DCFL, Chethana PU College, KMWA, Miranda Composite PU college, Gouthama Siddhartha PU College, SDC PU College, Jnana Sweekar PU College has the maximum number of students with distinctions.
