The holiday season is almost around the corner as we gear up for another round of family time and celebrations. In the weeks leading up to the end-of-year holidays, most of our schedules are jam-packed with parties, shopping, and vacation trips. Then, after weeks of excitement and excesses, it all comes to an abrupt halt.
So, why not change your schedule a little this time around? Here are 10 amazing things you can try your hand at to keep yourself interested and productive during this holiday season.
1) Take a spontaneous trip

This may not be on the top of your priorities, but once school starts you won’t get the chance even if you want to. Take a little time to connect with the family.

Every new language you learn gives you more perspective on life and is definitely marketable in the real world. Plus it’s fun!
10) Take up an Online Course/MOOCs
MOOCs (Massive Open Online Course) are free courses that you can take up in any field out there. Most of these courses are certified and recognised by reputed universities. You can take up courses that are relevant to your field of interest or even take up an aptitude test to find out where your interests lie which will give you an idea of your strengths and potential. It’s also a good way to learn more and in a fun manner because the course materials usually contain illustrious videos and content, which makes learning fun. The best part is that you can take up the courses at your own leisure.
Holiday time is meant for de-stressing and relaxing. Staying productive for a few hours each day can benefit you in the long run. After all, you will find yourself in a pit of boredom if you just sit back and ‘relax’ all day. So why not make things a little more interesting this time around?
