The long wait for IIT aspirants is over with the declaration of  JEE Advanced results in 2016. Lakhs of engineering students worked hard for months to appear for the most popular engineering entrance examination to get admission to the Indian Institute of Technology.

This national-level engineering entrance exam is the second stage of JEE. After the announcement of JEE Main 2016 cut-off, which was 100 for the General category students, 70 for students belonging to Backward classes, 52 for Scheduled Caste, and 48 toScheduled Tribe, nearly 1.98 lakh candidates above the cut off in various categories were eligible for JEE Advanced 2016.

Over 1, 55,948 students had registered for the examination and 36,566 qualified it. Among these, 31,996 are boys and 4,570 are girls.

This year, students of Deeksha have successfully bagged 7 ranks in the top 1,000 All India Rank (AIR). 49+ students from Deeksha qualified JEE (Advanced). Rahul V secured an ALL India Rank of 35 followed by Chinmay M D with AIR in 758, Preetham V (AIR -987), Sachin S (AIR- 312), Rahul BS (AIR- 207), Jeevith P (AIR- 34), and Prajwal R.S (AIR-385).
