The JEE Main 2017 results have been declared! Deeksha students have made us proud with their stellar performance! 440 Deekshaites cleared the exam. Our student, Vishwajit, has secured AIR 65.

JEE Main 2017 examination was held on April 2 (offline) and April 8 and 9 (online).  Conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) it is the gateway to IITs, NITs and other centrally funded institutes of engineering in India.

This year the cut-off was very low when compared to the previous year. For the general category, it dropped to 81 from 105, for OBC it was declined to 49 from 79, 32 from 45 for Scheduled Castes and 27 from 40 for Scheduled Tribes.

10 lakh plus students from over 2000 Centres in 109 cities in India and abroad appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination out of which nearly 2.20 lakh students have qualified for the JEE Advanced exam. This year around 8,62,526 male students appeared for the exam and the number of female attendees was around 3,36,460.

Regular coaching and hard work helped Vishwajit P Hegde from Deeksha Main Campus score 323 in JEE Main and clinch the All India Rank 65 in the entrance exam. The young boy from a small town, Sirsi, in Uttara Karnataka district has excelled in KVPY and Indian National Olympiad too.
